I bring a working pottery wheel into the room. While I shape the clay, I share what has shaped me: losing my sight, living with hearing loss, building an invention, and learning to accept help when I could not see a way forward.

Happiness is a feeling. Joy is a choice I make within the challenge. It does not mean the challenge feels good or that I already have the answer. It means asking what I can do today that helps me keep moving.

That choice helps me persevere. The choices I keep making shape my character, and the hope I can give and receive. The clay makes that process something your team can watch as well as hear.

A handle changes what a vessel can do. People have been handles for me: their support helped me keep building and become able to pour into others. I invite your people to think about who they can support, and whose support they need to receive.

The invitation is practical: one challenge, one next step, and one way to give or receive support. It gives your team a shared picture they can carry into their next conversation.
