One on one time at the wheel

Pottery Healing

Every person on your team is being shaped by something right now, whether they say it out loud or not. Pottery Healing gives them a moment to slow down, put their hands in the clay, and shape it with intention instead of carrying it alone.

I bring my pottery wheel into your world for a couple of days, and I sit down with your people one at a time, thirty minutes each. It is not a demonstration and it is not a craft class. It is one on one time at the wheel, just the two of us.

Because I am blind, I walk into that room without prejudgment. I cannot see skin color. I cannot tell if you are a man or a woman. All I know is that you matter. That is what each person gets in their thirty minutes: not being sized up, just being seen for who they are.

The largest group I have done this for so far is twenty five people, and I am glad to talk through what it looks like for a group of any size.

When I did this for Mission Preschool at Mission Church of the Nazarene, people told me it was the most calming experience they had been through. They laid their challenges down in the clay and walked away with victory over what they had been carrying.

I bring everything I need. The wheel, the water, the buckets, and a tarp to protect your floor. We can set up right in your office or a meeting room. You do not need to rent a studio or buy anything. Just give us the space, and we will lay the tarp down and get started.

What each finished piece ends up looking like is something we figure out together, based on your environment and location.

A lump of clay under pressure is not so different from a person carrying a hard season. Pottery Healing gives your team permission to trust the process, and to leave with something they shaped themselves, along with thirty minutes of being fully seen.

Companies, churches, schools, and any size team who want to give their people something real: individual time, a steady hand, and a piece of pottery they made themselves.
