Our Unique Services

Type 1: In-Person Message and Pottery Presentation

This is the most expensive and time consuming event I do because of the cost of getting myself and my potter’s wheel to your location. I need at least 2 months advance notice to speak in person and to make arrangements to ship my wheel and have enough time for the wheel to arrive. I require a downpayment for all of my travel expenses upfront as this part is costly (if you should need to cancel, the initial expense would not be refunded. If you should need to reschedule, you would need to cover any additional expenses. If I am the one that needs to reschedule, I will pay for any additional initial charges the changes incur.

The standard cost besides the speaking fee would be as follows:

  • Airfare for 2 people- one for me and the other for my assistant or gas if I am driving
  • Hotel costs
  • Shipping costs of my pottery wheel, if I am flying
  • Food and travel at location

*Due to the travel, the piece made in person does not get fired or turned into a finished piece because of the risk of the piece breaking

Type 2: Virtual Message and Pottery Presentation

One of the biggest benefits of me doing Virtual Pottery Presentations is that I can finish the piece after the event and ship the piece to you. I only have you cover the standard speaking fee and the virtual assistant costs unless you have someone willing to be my virtual assistant throughout the process. Then I will send you an invoice for the finished piece. Why do I use a virtual assistant during my virtual presentation? He or she helps with the camera setup before the presentation, runs my cameras during the event, and reads and monitors the comments so I don’t miss anything. The cost of the virtual assistant is $180.

The standard cost besides the speaking fee would be as follows:

  • Airfare for 2 people- one for me and the other for my assistant or gas if I am driving
  • Hotel costs
  • Shipping costs of my pottery wheel, if I am flying
  • Food and travel at location

Type 3: In-Person Message

If you don’t want the hassle of having me ship my pottery wheel but still want the power of my story, I am happy to come and inspire your audience to live beyond their challenges. I am more than just a potter but also a gifted storyteller. I am able to provide a tailored speech based on my life and your preferences to show how others can overcome their own challenges.

The standard cost besides the speaking fee would be as follows:

  • Airfare for myself
  • Hotel costs
  • Food and travel at location

Type 4: Virtual Message

Speaking virtually has been something we have come to embrace over the last couple of years, which is why I offer a virtual presentation without my pottery wheel. I normally use these types of presentations to engage with my viewers so they can ask questions while I  tell my story. We can talk through what you would like to include in this format. Depending on the format, I might request to have a virtual assistant help me manage the comments and the video feed. This would be an additional fee of $180. The virtual format is more flexible due to the way I can interact with the audience and what the event is for.

Included in the Virtual Pottery Presentations:

  • Speaking fee
  • A tailored Presentation
  • Audience interaction
